In 2019 when Covid hit, Eric Rhoads snapped into action with a daily youtube program "Art School Live" offering free art lessons daily to keep people from worrying. He went 7 days a week for 7 continuous months without a day off, and has continued the show 5 days a week for over 3 years. His youtube channel has 100,000 subscribers, and the show has reached several million views. getting him a youtube award. 

Eric is passionate about art as an artist and collector. He founded PleinAir magazine in 2011 and Fine Art Connoisseur in 2004, doing a column for each. He is the founder of Streamline Publishing (1986) which has 6 art newsletters, 2 art conferences, 4 online art conferences, one annual international painting trip, two artist retreats. Eric disliked how art instruction videos were done so he launched Painttube tv and has produced over 600 courses with the worlds leading artists. Eric is an expert on art marketing and running an art busienss, and an expert on how artists can better learn and retain information.
